Colleen Nampitjinpa was born ca.1953 in Pirramil, near Tjukula. She moved to Haasts Bluff as a young girl and later to Papunya with her husband, Billy Whiskey Tjapaltjarri, the Ngungkari (healer) of the area. Collen now lives at the family outstation of Ingalingi, 30km from the Mt Liebig community.
